Khujand Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University (KPITTU) is a young, expanding institution in Tajikistan with great potential for development. Today, it is working resolutely to develop its research, guaranteeing the quality of its operational activities and extending the scope of its international networking. KPITTU is ranked number 1 in Central Asia in the use of Information Technology in Education and it is in the list of few non-corrupt universities of Central Asia according to the United Nations’ report. The Learning Management System of KPITTU has received a nomination for the UN-based World Summit Award – 2013. The institute has national and international accreditation. In 2005, it was the first HEI in Tajikistan, which changed its education system to the Bologna process (other HEIs have changed from 2010 to 2015). KPITTU infrastructures include 3 campus buildings, 23 study and research labs, a Technological Park, and a Centre of Development of Learning Management System.
